Life Shifted is committed to complying with all applicable consumer protection laws, including the Australian Consumer Law (ACL).
This Refund Policy applies to the purchase of digital products and intermediary / consulting services offered by Life Shifted and should be read together with our Terms & Conditions and, where applicable, our Terms of Engagement.
1. Statutory Consumer Rights
Nothing in this Refund Policy excludes, restricts or modifies any consumer guarantee or right you may have under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Where the ACL requires a refund, repair or replacement, Life Shifted will comply with its legal obligations.
2. Digital Products
(Guides, Mini Books and Downloadable Content)
Life Shifted offers digital products, including downloadable guides and mini books.
Once a digital product has been made available for access or download, it is non-refundable to the extent permitted by law, except where required by the Australian Consumer Law (for example, where the digital product is defective, inaccessible, or not as described).
Refunds are not provided for digital products in the following circumstances:
• change of mind;
• mistaken purchase;
• dissatisfaction based on personal circumstances, expectations or outcomes;
• failure to read or use the digital product.
3. Intermediary and Consulting Services
Life Shifted provides time-based, non-legal intermediary and consulting services, which are charged on an hourly, daily or minimum-engagement basis.
Fees are charged for time spent and work performed.
Once services have been provided, fees are non-refundable to the extent permitted by law, except where required by the Australian Consumer Law.
Refunds are not provided for:
• change of mind;
• dissatisfaction with outcomes or progress;
• services properly provided in accordance with the Terms of Engagement;
• decisions made by the client or advice provided by third-party professionals.
Any prepaid amounts or retainers will be applied against work performed. Any unused portion of a retainer may be refunded at Life Shifted’s discretion.
4. Cancellations Before Services Commence
If you cancel a booked service before work has commenced, Life Shifted may, at its discretion, refund prepaid fees less any administrative costs incurred.
5. Refund Processing
Where a refund is approved:
• refunds will be processed using the original payment method where possible; and
• processing times may vary depending on your payment provider or financial institution.
Life Shifted is not responsible for delays caused by banks or payment processors.
